The river « Crévelin »
Located on the right hand side of the main beach, it presents two very different facets, one at high tide, the other at low tide. This is amplified by the fact that our part of Brittany is home to the bigger tides of Europe, and helps to understand these particular phenomena. For your safety, pay attention to the rising tides.
In town
Streets in Saint-Lunaire contain several historical vestiges of our heritage: the covered market, the fountain shaped as ancient bread oven, impressive villas, and of course the old church, which dates back to 11th century. This church is one of the symbols of our city. It shelters the tomb of Saint-Lunaire and 6 others resting statues.
Guided tours are organized every Thursdays in July and August, during Spring break and the October holidays. It is a wonderful way to discover our city and its history with a qualified guide.
